This exercise will help strengthen the muscles in the forearm.
If you wish, you can do this exercise with a deck of playing cards, a newspaper or a magazine. This exercise should be done in your wheelchair. Sit at a table or use the wheelchair tray. Lift both hands off the table by flexing your wrists so your fingers point upwards. Turn your hands over, so they face palm upwards. Perform these actions gently but to the fullest extent possible. You can vary this exercise by turning over a stack of playing cards and laying them on the table or flipping through a magazine or newspaper.
