Biceps-curl
A good exercise for the biceps musculature (the muscles that bend the elbows). The exercise is aimed at children from 7 years of age and upwards, but can also be used by younger individuals where the biceps need to be trained. For this exercise you need rubber bands, dumbbells or barbells.
Description
Place the child in a stable position in a chair, wheelchair or by using a standing aid. Let the child look at herself/himself in the mirror. Work on activating the stomach musculature to stabilise the trunk. Bend and flex the elbow joints, the downward movement should be slow and controlled.
